About the Foundation
A home where every child is loved, protected and given a future
Lawrence Orphanage Foundation is a non-governmental, non-profit organisation devoted to the care of orphaned, abandoned and vulnerable children in Nigeria. We provide shelter, food, clothing, education, emotional support and spiritual guidance so that every child in our care can grow up with dignity and hope.
We cater for children who have lost their parents, children who have been abandoned or surrendered, and children in need of care and protection. Within our walls they find what every child deserves: a family.

About the Managing Director
Meet Mr Lawrence Ogla
Mr Lawrence Ogla is the Managing Director of Lawrence Orphanage Foundation. He oversees the day-to-day running of the home, from the welfare of every child to the relationships with partners and well-wishers who make the work possible.
His passion for orphaned and vulnerable children flows from a simple conviction: no child should face life alone. Under his leadership the foundation keeps its doors open to children who have lost their parents or been abandoned, giving them shelter, food, education and, above all, love.

Step 2: Deliver it to the home, or send the money for it through our official accounts.

Our building project
Building a permanent home for the children
The foundation is raising a purpose-built home: dormitories, learning rooms, a chapel and a safe courtyard, all in one place. The designs are ready. Now we need friends to help us build.

Bright, well-ventilated rooms where every child has a proper bed and a place to keep their things.

Dedicated spaces for lessons, homework and reading, decorated to make learning feel like play.
A chapel
A place for morning devotion, worship and gatherings, at the heart of the home's faith and family life.

Visit the home
We welcome visitors, volunteers and well-wishers. Please get in touch before you come so that we can agree a time that does not disrupt the children's school and rest routines.
- Visits are by appointment. Call or WhatsApp us to arrange one.
- Gifts of food and items can be delivered to the home. Tell us in advance so we can plan.
